Tanners School Report Every once in a while, we are asked to help with a student project. It’s always our delight to do so! Our most recent inquiry came from a 4th grade student at Cole Valley Christian School named Tanner. You are welcome to click on the picture here to see Tanner’s project. We are pleased to report that he got an A+ from his teacher… and he certainly gets one from us! Way to go Tanner!

Winter Coats Available for Purchase
It is that time of the season again, where the days are shorter and the nights are longer. If you are cold then your dog is cold and is in need of a coat to keep him warm. But just because your dog needs to be warm doesn't mean that they can't look fashionable. GRI has a huge variety of winter coats for your greyhounds available for purchase. They come in all different patterns and 3 different sizes to accommodate for all sizes and breeds of dog.

Sanctuary Sponsor Program

Once they get into the rescue system, most Greyhounds find a wonderful "forever" home with new adoptive parents. Others, however, may require special help from the Greyhound Rescue of Idaho (GRI) Sanctuary Program. GRI makes a lifetime commitment to all Greyhounds that come into our organization. GRI provides care for returned Greyhounds as well as those from other situations where our intervention is needed.

Unfortunately, some dogs are not adoptable because of advanced age or serious medical problems. Although these "long-term foster" dogs live in a home environment with their foster family, their expenses are paid by GRI. We currently have 14 Greyhounds in the program with an average annual cost of around $500 per dog. Last year alone, GRI covered $22,000 in veterinary expenses. As these expenses mount year after year, we are finding the need for additional financial help.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Sign up to help sponsor our long-term foster Greyhounds. We view this program as an opportunity for GRI Friends such as you who have room in their hearts, but not their homes, to make a tremendous difference through sponsorship. We invite you to CLICK HERE to access a sponsorship form and get to know more about how you can help. For your convenience, anyone with an email address can now make a *secure* sponsorship donation through PayPal.

Your donations are tax-deductible and go a long way toward ensuring that every GRI Greyhound receives a home, nutritious food, and medical care for life. Working together, we can make a difference in the lives of these precious, gentle dogs.
